If you happen to be on a long, hipster weekend with friends... - First line, "Cereal" Magazine (2012)
In December, 2012, "Cereal" rocked the independent magazine scene with a new aesthetic. Co-founders, Rosa Park and Rich Stapleton created and published a magazine with a stripped down visual style, minimilist photography and a deep approach to travel journalism. Using a neutral palette (grey, gray and not as gray) and appealing to the hip, new artisinal lifestyle movements, "Cereal" has become one of the most influential magazines of the present era. Park and Stapleton originally published "Cereal" as an answer to the "hipster" generation's yearning for beautiful authenticity. With an initial print run of 3,000 copies, "Cereal" magazine has grown into a major cultural influencer, many considering it a masterpiece of print design. Volume One is highly coveted and is thus now scarce and fiendishly hard to find.
