"Coraline", was made into a well-received stop-motion animated movie in 2009. This "Visual Companion" by Stephen Jones is a documentary in book form of the creative process that went into the making of this modern movie classic. Both novel and movie center around an 11-year-old girl, Coraline, who is between childhood and adolescence and discovers a path between two worlds in her odd, Victorian home. Detailed with hundreds of photos from the movie including interviews with the director, Henry Selick. With a foreword by the novel's writer, Neil Gaiman.
